Bambu Lab textured PEI plate 256 mm: A1, P1, X1
This is Bambu Lab's original steel plate with textured PEI for its printers with a 256 × 256 mm bed: the A1, P1P, P1S, the X1 series, the P2S and the X2D. It holds PLA and PETG well while hot and, once it cools, the print pops off on its own or with a slight flex of the plate, leaving a matte, grainy underside. When the surface on yours is worn or scratched and prints stop sticking even after cleaning, it's time for a new one.
- 256 × 256 mm plate with a 0.075 mm textured PEI layer; part number FAP033.
- For the Bambu Lab A1, P1P, P1S, X1, X1 Carbon, X1E, P2S and X2D.
- Not for the A1 mini, which takes the 180 × 180 mm plate (on the same shop page).
- It leaves the underside matte and grainy; for a smooth, glossy base you need a different surface.
- Wash it with soap and water or wipe it with isopropyl alcohol; avoid touching the surface, as grease from your hands reduces grip.

How to choose the right one
Choose the 256 × 256 mm variant for an A1, P1, X1, P2S or X2D, and the 180 × 180 mm one only for the A1 mini. If you change plate type, tell the slicer so it uses the right bed temperature.
