Textures for your 3D model
Give any part a relief: wood, carbon fibre, knurling for grip, hexagons, leather or a texture you create. Pick one, set its size and depth, paint where you don't want it and download the STL or 3MF ready to print.
Your model
Upload your design as STL, 3MF, GLB, OBJ or STEP, open it from My projects or try a sample. No 3D model? Create it with Text to 3D or Image to 3D, then texture it here. Trying textures is free and runs in your browser; downloading the textured model needs the Pro plan, like any usi3d model.

Search with AI or create your own
Search for what you want to achieve (“a handle that doesn't slip”, “wood look”) and the AI shows the ones that fit best. If it isn't there, create it: from a photo, a logo or a drawing (light areas raised), by mixing two from the gallery or by describing it to the AI (38 credits, only if it works). With your account they are kept in “Your textures”.
How it is applied
Triplanar, cubic, cylindrical (cups, handles, wheels), spherical or flat projection; the size of each repeat in millimetres, offset and rotation; depth outwards or inwards, or symmetric to keep the dimensions. The base stays flat to sit on the bed and you can paint the surfaces that should not get it (or the only ones that should). With stamp mode, just once (a logo); with layers, several textures on one part; with the section view, inside.
The download subdivides the mesh to the resolution you choose, moves each point as the texture says and keeps the number of triangles you want, closed and ready for the slicer.

- Colors and filament: Paint your STL or GLB with real filament colours, check materials and export your project as GLB or 3MF, in your browser.
- Text to 3D: Describe your part, add reference images if you like and get its 3D model with AI. See your design from every side for free; the 3D model with credits.
- Image to 3D: Upload an image of your part and get its 3D model with usi3d's AI. Free: see your photo from every side; the 3D model with credits, no plan needed.
- Split into parts: Upload your STL, 3MF or GLB, pick your printer and split it into parts that fit its bed, with numbered dowels that fit together.
