Start with a clear reference.
Choose how to start: a photo, an idea you can describe or an existing 3D mesh.
Where to start
- I have an image: show the whole object, without cropping or obstructions. Check the result from every angle.
- I have an idea: describe it in words and, if you like, add up to four reference images. You'll get a 3D model to check before printing.
- I have a 3D file: open the studio to adjust the mesh, size, colors and part layout.
Frequently asked questions
Can one image reproduce the exact shape?
No. AI interprets the parts it cannot see. Use a photo of the whole object, from the front and in good light; rebuilding from several views is not offered yet. Always check dimensions and geometry.
What does 4K mean for a 3D model?
It describes texture resolution. It does not tell you how accurate the mesh is, its dimensions or whether it can be printed. Check those separately.
Do I need an account?
Yes. The studio, credits and your printer diagnoses share one account. On mobile you use the browser too. The Free plan requires no card.
Are the figures and separated parts ready to print?
Studio images show design concepts. Colors and Split into parts include sample STL models with their creator and license; the community shares previews, not files. Before printing, check scale, supports and fit for your material and printer.
Where can I follow a printer issue?
In Troubleshoot with AI: with an account, each diagnosis is saved with its steps so you can pick it up whenever you like.
How do I contact usi3d?
Use the contact form: support, business, rights claims about content and security. If email addresses are published, they are listed there too.
Can I use usi3d from my own software?
Yes, on plans that include the API: printer troubleshooting and photo analysis with a key and your account balance. The guide covers authentication, limits and errors, with examples.
