Bambu Lab A1/A1 mini hotend, hardened steel 0.4
The nozzle on a Bambu Lab A1 or A1 mini is part of the hotend, which is a quick-swap unit: when the nozzle clogs beyond saving or wears out, you replace the whole hotend. This is the original with a 0.4 mm hardened steel nozzle, fine for everyday printing and also able to cope with carbon or glass fibre filaments.

- Hardened steel stands up to fibre-filled filaments and prints plain PLA or PETG just as well.
- Having a spare gets the printer going again straight away if a clog won't clear.
- Before swapping it, try cleaning the nozzle and check the extruder: not every extrusion fault comes from the hotend.
