Magigoo 3D printing glue stick, 50 ml
Magigoo is a glue stick made for 3D printing: a thin coat on the bed improves first-layer grip and holds back warping, the corners of the print lifting off the plate. It has a second, less obvious use: PETG on smooth plates can bond so hard that it tears bits out of the surface, and a layer of Magigoo acts as a release film so the print comes off in one piece. Afterwards it wipes away with water.
- 50 ml stick; the shop reckons on more than 100 prints per stick.
- Works with ABS, PLA, PETG, HIPS, ASA and TPU, among other materials.
- Cleans up with water: a damp cloth gets the plate back to bare.
- Against warping, apply a thin, even coat; more glue doesn't add grip and leaves marks on the underside of the print.
- With PETG on smooth or smooth-PEI plates, it acts as a release layer so the part doesn't fuse to the plate.

How to choose the right one
Before reaching for glue, clean the plate with isopropyl alcohol and check the levelling and first-layer height: that is often where the problem lies. Textured plates usually need less, except with materials that warp a lot.
How we choose products
usi3d shows products from other shops for their compatibility with your printer, because they help with a fault, because they ship to Spain and because the shop is trustworthy. The commission does not decide what we show or in what order.
