Elegoo Centauri Carbon 2: fast 3D printer

The Centauri Carbon 2 is the successor to Elegoo's Centauri Carbon: a fast printer, up to 500 mm/s, with a 256 × 256 × 256 mm build volume and automatic calibration, delivered fully assembled. Its hotend reaches 350 °C, so it can handle technical filaments that need high temperatures, and Elegoo bills it as ready for multi-material printing. It suits anyone who wants to print much faster without hours of tuning.

  • 256 × 256 × 256 mm build volume and speeds up to 500 mm/s.
  • Direct-drive extruder and a nozzle that reaches 350 °C; no heated chamber.
  • Touch screen, USB and Wi-Fi connectivity; arrives fully assembled.
  • In the box: nozzle cleaning needle, hex key, screwdriver, scraper, USB stick, spool holder and a filament sample; the spool in the shop's photos is not included.
  • Spare BiMetal nozzles for the Centauri Carbon fit it too, according to Elegoo.

How to choose the right one

Make sure you have room for a printer with a 256 mm bed and that your Wi-Fi reaches it if you want to send jobs from your computer. If you only print PLA now and then, an entry-level printer will be enough.

How we choose products

usi3d shows products from other shops for their compatibility with your printer, because they help with a fault, because they ship to Spain and because the shop is trustworthy. The commission does not decide what we show or in what order.
