Capricorn XS PTFE tube 1.75 mm, 1 m: Ender 3 Bowden
Capricorn XS is a low-friction PTFE tube for 1.75 mm filament with a tighter bore than a standard tube: 1.9 mm. It's the tube that carries filament from the extruder to the hotend on Bowden printers such as the Ender 3 (the Pro and V2 included). Because it's a closer fit, the filament has less play inside the tube, which helps with retraction and with flexible filaments.
- 1 m of Capricorn XS PTFE tube for 1.75 mm filament; part number XS-175-1.
- 1.9 mm inner diameter (± 0.05 mm) and 4.0 mm outer diameter, the size of the usual push-fit couplings.
- Cut the ends square and push the tube until it seats against the nozzle before tightening the coupling.
- A burnt tube or a gap next to the nozzle causes clogs: replace it if the end is dark or deformed.
- 1 m covers the extruder-to-hotend run on an Ender 3 with plenty left over for spares.

How to choose the right one
Check that your printer has a Bowden extruder, takes 1.75 mm filament and uses couplings for 4 mm outer-diameter tube. If a coupling is worn and no longer grips the tube, replace it too.
