3DJAKE ecoPLA black 1.75 mm, 1 kg: PLA filament

ecoPLA is the entry-level PLA from 3DJAKE, the in-house brand of the European shop 3DJake, here in black on a 1 kg spool of 1.75 mm filament. PLA is the easiest material to start with: it prints at low temperatures, barely warps and doesn't need an enclosure. A spool of plain PLA also works as a benchmark — if a print comes out fine with it, the problem was the other filament, not the printer.

  • Black PLA (RAL 9017), 1.75 mm diameter, 1 kg of filament.
  • Temperatures given by 3DJake: 195–215 °C at the nozzle; the bed can stay cold or go up to 60 °C.
  • 3DJake says it can go in the Bambu Lab AMS, with an asterisk: read the shop's note before you load it.
  • Good for everyday parts, prototypes and calibration prints; for outdoor use or parts that get warm, PETG or ASA are a better fit.
  • If a fresh spool prints cleanly and an old one doesn't (stringing, popping, weak layers), suspect moisture in the old one.

How to choose the right one

Check that your printer takes 1.75 mm filament, as almost every current model does, and pick that size on the shop page, which also lists 2.85 mm. Start in the middle of the temperature range and fine-tune it with a temperature tower.

How we choose products

usi3d shows products from other shops for their compatibility with your printer, because they help with a fault, because they ship to Spain and because the shop is trustworthy. The commission does not decide what we show or in what order.
