SUNLU FilaDryer S2: filament dryer

SUNLU's FilaDryer S2 is a box that keeps a spool warm for hours to drive out the moisture filament absorbs from the air. Damp filament crackles or bubbles as it leaves the nozzle, strings and blobs more and gives layers that come apart; PETG, TPU and nylon suffer sooner than PLA. Drying the spool is one of the first things to try when a filament that used to print well starts to misbehave.

  • Adjustable drying temperature from 35 to 70 °C, according to SUNLU.
  • Takes spools up to Ø 210 × 85 mm and 1.75, 2.85 or 3.00 mm filament.
  • Runs on its own power supply (100–240 V input) and draws 48 W at most.
  • Measures 265 × 274 × 118 mm, with a display for its settings.
  • Dry each material at its own temperature: lower for PLA and TPU, higher for PETG or nylon, without going past what the spool can take.

How to choose the right one

Measure the diameter and width of your spools before buying: they need to fit within Ø 210 × 85 mm. If you only print PLA in a dry home you may not need it; with PETG, TPU or nylon the difference is obvious.

How we choose products

usi3d shows products from other shops for their compatibility with your printer, because they help with a fault, because they ship to Spain and because the shop is trustworthy. The commission does not decide what we show or in what order.
