Smartfil CLEAN cleaning filament 1.75 mm, 750 g
CLEAN is a purge filament from Smart Materials 3D, the company behind Smartfil: you run it through the hotend to flush out leftovers of the previous material when you change material or colour, or when the nozzle is partly clogged. It's especially useful when going from a high-temperature material to a low-temperature one, which on its own can't melt what's left of the first.
- 1.75 mm cleaning filament, natural colour, 750 g spool; part number SMPLA6NT0A075.
- Used between 190 and 250 °C, about 10 °C above the temperature of the previous material, according to the maker.
- Purge until the strand comes out clean with no trace of colour; then load the new material and purge a little more.
- It helps with partial clogs from burnt residue; if the nozzle is worn or completely blocked, it won't be enough.

How to choose the right one
It's for 1.75 mm printers. A spool is worth having if you often switch between materials with very different temperatures, such as PETG or ABS and PLA.
How we choose products
usi3d shows products from other shops for their compatibility with your printer, because they help with a fault, because they ship to Spain and because the shop is trustworthy. The commission does not decide what we show or in what order.
