PROXXON pocket hex key set, 8 keys 1.5–8 mm
Most screws on a 3D printer have metric hex heads, and this PROXXON set brings together eight sizes, from 1.5 to 8 mm, in a pocket holder. The small ones fit the grub screws on the motor pulleys: if one works loose, the pulley slips and layers come out shifted. The middle sizes are for tensioning belts, tightening the toolhead or checking the frame.
- 8 metric hex keys: 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 8 mm, with holder.
- Chrome-vanadium steel.
- If layers always shift on the same axis, suspect a loose grub screw on that motor's pulley and tighten it against the flat of the shaft.
- For belt tension or eccentric wheels, check your manual for the size each screw takes.

How to choose the right one
Check your printer's manual for the sizes it uses: for the toolhead and pulleys they're usually between 1.5 and 4 mm. If your printer came with keys, this set works as a pocket spare and covers the sizes that weren't included.
How we choose products
usi3d shows products from other shops for their compatibility with your printer, because they help with a fault, because they ship to Spain and because the shop is trustworthy. The commission does not decide what we show or in what order.
