A digital caliper is how you stop tuning a printer by eye: you measure the filament, a printed wall or the base of a part and correct with the figure. This Kynup caliper reads up to 150 mm with 0.01 mm resolution, more than enough for what you measure in 3D printing.

How to choose the right one
Zero it with the jaws clean and closed before each set of measurements, and measure without squeezing, as plastic gives. Check in the shop which battery it takes and whether it's included: when it runs low, readings stop being reliable.
