Fix 3D printer problems with AI

Tell usi3d's AI what is wrong with your 3D printer, whatever the brand, FDM or resin, and talk it through until it is fixed: one project per problem, with what to check first, how to fix it and the official sources.

What you get

  • Any brand and model
  • FDM and resin
  • With official sources
  • Free with your account

How it works

  • Start a project: choose your printer and tell the AI what is happening. A photo helps.
  • It tells you what to check first and how to fix it, with the official sources.
  • Tell it how it went: it keeps going with you until it is fixed. When it works, mark it as fixed.

What you tell it

Your printer (search by name or type it if it is not in the list), what you see, since when and what you already tried, and the material: PLA, PETG, TPU, ASA, ABS, PA or resin.

A clear photo of the print or the part that fails helps a lot: the first layer, the nozzle, the plate… Up to four JPG, PNG or WebP photos of up to 8 MB each.

Where each answer comes from

  • usi3d's AI answers from its knowledge, summarised from each manufacturer's official documentation, and links the official sources.
  • The AI can make mistakes: if in doubt, check the manufacturer's manual or support.

Free with your account

All you need is your account, with your email confirmed, and there is a daily limit of consultations (more with the Pro and Max plans). Each project counts as one consultation, with up to 20 messages from you; from the 21st, another. The photos the AI looks at also have a daily limit. Before sending each message you see what you have left today.

One project per problem

With an account, each problem is a project kept with its conversation and its photos: you see it in your list, with its printer and status, pick it up whenever you like, and it also appears in “My projects”.

Before any work with mains power, heaters or resin, switch the printer off and follow the manufacturer's safety instructions.
